Viper Captain       

Description After making my Custom Mercer figure from an '86 Viper and and an '87 Mercer, I had some leftover parts. What to do? Since Mercer's pants looked similar to those of a Viper, I decided to make a Viper Captain--a squad commander that would lead other Cobra Vipers on the battlefield. I repainted the Mercer pants to match those of a Viper, and painted the flack vest red. Why red? I figured that a Viper Captain would need to stand out among his ranks, so that his troops could find him quickly in a firefight. Of course, his opponents could spot him easier too, and take him out... A bit of dremmeling was required too on the Mercer torso--as the Viper head would not fit otherwise. I am very haappy with the way this custom turned out.
